Size and Fit: fits small/tight compared with previous Xcel suits

Overall, I really like the quality and features of this suit, but it definitely fits significantly tighter/smaller than previous Xcel full suits I’ve owned, and it feels less flexible in the width of the suit (especially across the chest and shoulders). I have owned 2 Xcel Infinity Comp and 1 Comp full suits in size large that fit me perfectly. I ordered the Xcel Infiniti LTD 3/2mm in size large and it felt much smaller and tighter in width. The length is fine. It is more difficult to put on and off and feels tighter especially across the chest and shoulders. I’m 5’11” and 180lbs with a 33” waist and a fairly lean build with broad shoulders. I tried a size XL in the Xcel Infiniti LTD 3/2mm and it was much more comfortable, but a bit too large so I decided to keep the size large. I think I’ll be happy with once it is on me and I’m in the water. My observation is that the channel X fabric is not as flexible in the horizontal stretch (across the body) as previous materials.
