This flat pad can either be used as a two-piece or three-piece, depending on how wide of a pad you want or need.

Inspired by the wide tails on Rob Machado’s more grovely shapes, the Firewire 2+1 Flat Traction pad works well on shapes like Rob’s Seaside or even wider tails like Dan Mann’s Sweet Potato.

Designed with square tread, it offers board feel with extreme sensitivity, and is a favorite tread for surfers who haven’t traditionally loved traction.
