Purchased an XL for size 12 foot but they ended up being too big. Definitely had to size down because they just slipped off without any effort. If you can, I recommend trying them on in store to find the size that best fits snug.

I’ve taken my Alton fins out twice and have loved them! They’re half the price of other fins (Yucca, Dafins) and just as good quality. I like the give over the stiffness, and the neoprene straps that I added to my order were 100% worth it. The fins came quickly and the company was communicative about the ordering and shipping process every step of the way. Thank you for making the process smooth and providing a great product. These are a good fin for swimming freestyle in the open ocean, but not great for pool swimming- somewhat hard on the ankles and medial knees in flat water with little benefit in terms of propulsion. Also not great for sidestroke variations in either pool or ocean due to the relatively short blade length limiting propulsion. I'll save these for short quick bursts of effort in choppy ocean, like bodysurfing.
