The goal was to ensure that we offered flavors for every snowboarder across the globe - and the result? An all-new experience from your favorite snowboard brand (us, duh!) All of the bells, whistles, and response that an advanced to expert-level snowboarder would expect from the mad scientists in our board lab - just with one fewer dimension. The Placebo is built on a two-dimensional (read: flat) base platform, because not everyone is looking for a 3D snowboard - and that’s okay. So we built a flat board, the Bataleon way.

• Light Core

  50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

• Ultra Glide S

  A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.

• Tri-Ax Lamination

  Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

• Carbon Stringers

  Our tried and true carbon layups. We've used them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

• C.S.T. SuperTubes

  Central Super Tube, a single Super Tube down the middle of the board enhances pop without stiffening the board torsionally. Great for jibbing.

• Impact Plates

  Strategically placed underfoot, these plates distribute pressure from heavy landings and high-impact situations, protecting your board from damage and reinforcing the inserts. Whether you’re hitting big jumps or tackling rough terrain, Impact Plates ensure your snowboard remains responsive and resilient, providing a smoother ride and extending the life of your gear

Hand-wash warm. Tumble dry low. This product has been washed at the factory after sewing to minimize fabric shrinkage.
