Junior Designer, Production Artist
JOB TITLE: Jr. Graphic Designer
DEPARTMENT: Design
LOCATION: Huntington Beach, CA (On-site)
REPORTS TO: Women’s Creative Director
POSITION SUMMARY
Jack’s is looking for a talented Jr. Graphic Designer to join our team. This role will work collaboratively with the Design team to build compelling and exciting graphics from the conceptual stage through execution. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and Illustrate original art across all categories
- Work on placement art such as graphics, embroideries and embellishments
- Prepare artwork for production: scaling, color callouts
- Use Photoshop and Illustrator to create and setup artwork
- Help create digital and print assets for influencer gifting and in-person events.
- Have a strong understanding of the brand aesthetic.
- Participate in brainstorming, communicating concepts, and finding solutions for implementing direction and feedback from department directors.
- Work collaboratively with the Design team to ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms and assets.
- Develop trend reports and mood boards and keep up with the trending market

- Reports to our Design team and assist in everyday tasks
- Balance multiple projects with time management while being very organized to meet deadlines

DESIGN:
- Work collaboratively with the Creative Director and Social Media Manager to provide all graphics for Events.
- Create mockups for product packaging and influencer gifting campaigns.
- Collaborate on the creation of internal and external presentations and pitch decks.
- Create and finalize technical design sheets for production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in an internship or entry-level graphic design role.
- Able to work full-time, in person, at our Huntington Beach office.
- Intermediate to proficient knowledge in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong typography/layout skills.
- Proven ability to move between widely varying projects (stylistically and technically).
- Capable of accepting creative direction and working in a team environment.
- Strong design portfolio across social media, print, and digital mediums.
- Exceptional communication skills, project management skills, and ability to meet tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail; possesses organizational skills.
- Knowledge in textile and pattern making a plus but not required
